And the American Racing Headers Group Madness / H-Pipe Preorder Begins!

As many of you know, we're test fitting the H Pipe option this upcoming week, and will be offering those as an alternative for those looking for the "H Pipe Sound".

In the mean time, I will be starting the group purchase. This will be in affect for those who want ANY SIZE headers as well as CATTED and UNCATTED with either the H or X pipe option. That's right... no hidden tricks... ALL AMERICAN RACING HEADERS for the 05+ S197 GT's will be on group puchase and we promise you the discount is worth the PM.

Give me a shout via PM and I will get back to you right away with a very sweet deal on these systems. I will have pictures, as well as sound clips and video clips of both combinations this upcoming week for those who are interested.

This is simply for those who want to be ahead of the game, as these headers are built to order, and may take some time if you don't get in as quickly as possible. Typical turn around time is 3-5 days for a set, so we'd like to get some of them on order so that we're prepared to ship after test fitment is confirmed early next week!!!

Let us know if you have any questions!!!

Perfect timing... I've really been looking at LTs and wanted a good H pipe behind them.

How are these to install?

hey hey hey, the trailblazer aint gettin headers! just a catback....

the problem I have of getting longtubes is I have to buy another SCT tuner and somehow yank the locked FRPP tune and get a tune via doug or CR or Jared @ Lethal performance for my whipple.

right now I'll stick with what I have

I think someone asked if these are carb legal in California. That's a **** good question, but I don't think they are. Smoking is nearly illegal in California!

I know that in most states, if you buy the catted version and don't throw any CEL's you're good to go. I think Cali is different though?

The list of orders is growing, so get on it before the wait!

Question for everyone. Will these headers require a tune? Right now I only have the MAC axle back and will be looking at adding the Whipple HO kit in the summer. Oh.....and CR I'm sending you a PM right now.

Thanks

Good question. I think from what CR mentioned, if you decide to run the 1.75 pipes on a N/A motor for a while (until you get it supercharged), then it may need to be tuned. Don't think you need one if you use the 1 5/8's. I actually have my tuner on the way from Doug. Told him I run an Airaid CAI and will have American Racing L/T's, so the tune will be for both mods. Can't wait to add the program (albeit the 87 Perf tune. Not ready for 93 yet, lol) to my car.

And CR, I can going nuts on how good these are going to sound, I can't wait!!!I've never heard a S-197 Mustang with L/T's before, so when you put mine on, it will be a 1st for me!!!
