Aluminum 3v 4.6l Block

How much power can the aluminum 3v handle with a forged bottom end?

Here's a link to the thread on stock bottom ends , it should give you some idea knowing that a forged bottom end will handle more ...

I've seen guys make up to 800 rwhp on pump gas on the 4.6 3v but that's with about 18k into the motor.

The block is only as good as the internal that are in it. A few people have switch over to the teksid block which can handle in the neighborhood of 900-1000rwhp with the right internals. IMO it’s not necessary and is a waste of money if you already own a 3V since it has the same capability or more when it’s properly built.

The new 3v block is stronger than the teksid block.

You aren't going to have a block failure for a long, long time. 1500+rwhp.
