Shifter handle

Well I bought a roush billet **** thinking it would fit my pro 5.0 handle but that didn't work, the retainer screw didn't screw all the way down so that wasn't going to work. I'm stuck with a roush **** that I can't use. My question is what handle will work with the pro 5.0 shifter that will also work with the roush ****. Any advice is good advice. Thanks.

from my understanding, and someone correct me if i am wrong, the roush **** is the stock 12mm x 1.25 pitch. it will fit on the stock shifter or handles made to the oem threading. (you can double check by trying to put it on your stock shifter handle... it should fit)

the pro 5.0 uses the 12mm x 1.75 pitch, which is what was used on the Mustangs prior to the 2005 body style.

seems like doogie on this forum has the same shifter and he is running the hurst handle and ****... although, it seems that the hurst uses yet another thread from the other two. (3/8 x 16)

idk. may be easier just to buy the correct **** and sell or return the wrong one? just a thought. good luck.

Well maybe I can find a handle too bolt on to the 5.0 shifter then place the roush **** on there and if not I will just have to sell the ****. The **** did fit the the factory handle so thanks for the threading info.
