Alt Filter for the Whipple

It came time for me to either 'recharge' or replace the air filter on my Whipple and sense I don't like the clean then re-oil approach, I started looking into replacement filters and I finally found one I like.

The Amsoil EaAU6080 is a perfect fit on the 2005 - 2007 FRPP/Whipple Supercahrgers with the 'open' style airbox.

It has a touch of chrome and, more importantly for me, it's Blue!

Sorry for the cell pics.. decided to paint my TB and didn't take any 'finished' pics yet. Hopefully tomorrow.

The filter looks awesome, and you have a beautiful car! I love the quarter window louvers and Shelby wheels!

I've been thinking of picking up the same Filter.

Did you order from Amsoil?

That's just the underside of the stock hood. Had to remove the blanket.. Some punk buried a gallon can of house paint under my front tire at the Etown swap meet.. There was broken glass behind my car, so I had to pull forward and didn't know the can was buried there. Boom!

Covered everything under the hood including my blower.. It even hit my cousin's 07 GT parked next to me.. After many, many. many hours we've got most of it off.. Wish I could of caught the ****ers that did it. I'd be in jail and they'd be in the morgue.

It's good to know there's an alternative to the S&B filter that is supplied with the Whipple kits but you could've gotten it from S&B with red or blue oiling and with a black, blue, chrome, or red top for $28.42 - $33.18.
