All mods installed however need feedback on serious vibration problem

All mods installed however need feedback on these issues...
So after installing all my below mods just recently with suspention / headers / gears n TC etc. accompanied with tune, I encountered the following issue while driving...
Serious vibration in engine and noise when i accelerate after reaching mid high rpm's! It worries me a lot and I don't know what it is!
No it is not the gears as gears turned out to be as close to being perfectly installed my rear is top shape after the 4.10 install
Torque converter transmission kicks just a little after ever gear change but that could mean trans may need so more fluid. I have auto
I always read a lot before doing mods and always check everyone's feedback to make the best choise.
Unfortunately my choise for o/r X pipe was a major fail!
Never have i read in any forum that you can't breath from the fumes coming out of the exhaust when driving!
- I must have missed that somewhere if it was ever mentioned.
4.10 gears: I like the kick when car gets going but while doing 40-50 NO POWER whats so ever when i press on gas(only hear the car reving high and consuming my gas)... is that how it is supposed to be?
I hear weird noises in my suspension when i run over pot holes!
All these were installed by a very qualified auto technician!
Appreciate everyones help and furtehr feedback!

is that a tillman tune? I wonder if your drive shaft was installed correctly after the gear install? You should not be smelling exhaust fumes. You have a leak that needs to be fixed for sure. I wonder if your just smelling all the coatings on your new exhaust. Who's x pipe is it?

I have everyone of the mods you have but none of the issues except the stinky exhaust. But not when I am driving it only when I sit still. But that is what we all get when we lose the cats.
The engine vibration and issue with the car revving at 40-45 mph sounds like a TC issue or like Glenn said the driveshaft. The vibration from the installation possible and the revving thing from low fluid or poor trans tune.
My car is lowered but is very snug and very quiet. So again I would have to look at the installation.
Can you be more specfic of when you got the engine vibration? After what mod?

I did all of them together so I don't know what it could be.
These are the mods installed all at once:
(Kooks Long tube headers and o/r X, TCI 3000 Torque Converter, 4.10 Gears, FRPP Diff Grdle, Steeda adj. PHB, Koni Shocks n struts, J&M Camber Plates, FRPP K's, GT500 Strut Tower Brace, X5 Ball Joints)
And then put the tune in!
yes in that order!
Could the Torque converter be damaged? How would I know!
i got it for $300 from Bama it was on sale because someone returned it without installing as he just changed his mind on the mod and the only reason he was selling that cheap was because of that. But it's been a long time since i bought it!

Well there is no way to know if the issue is the TC unless we put the old one back in and see the difference!
I will try that as it is closer to where the noise and vibration is coming from and frankly what makes more sense! After that the only thing we may guess is either something is wrong with the tune or the exhaust is touching somewhere.
Will return with further update for more feedback.

I am sure you paid a pretty penny for all of that work. You say these guys are qualified mechanics. Have you addressed these issues with them and if so what do they think the problems are? Also please expand on your "vibration". Headers touching something and have an out of balance condition with the TC or driveshaft are two very very different things. I took your first post as if something was out of balance. Now I am not sure that is what you are saying. If it feels like a Kazoo vibrating on your butt when you are driving it is the headers or hangers rubbing on the frame or transmission crossmember. If the whole car is shaking it could be the TC or the drive shaft.

What is the noise. You could need a upper controll arm (UCR) mount if you replaced yout UCR. Sometimes you get a cluck when you hit bumps even small ones. What is the smell like. Rotten egg smell is normal until the system gets burnt in. Vibrations could be from the exhaust hangers making metal to metal contact on the system at the transmission crosmember. You can bend them out of the way without it being a problem. those hangers arne't even needed.

Im banking on Torque converter issue. The smell will burn off although not "coated" the pipe heating up and burning any residue off is normal. I also lead toward to converter because you hit gas and hear revving but not much motion. With 410 it should give you a nice jolt and take off. Torque converter, it was returned because the guy messed it up in the 1st place. My 2 cents at least

Well I am glad you found your issue. Good luck getting a refund for the TC. Since it was used and from Bama doesn't seem like a good combo for you but I wish you luck. If it doesn't work out check out what I am running. Precision Industries torque converters are a better piece of equipment than the TCI at least in my opinion but they do cost more also. But like everything else in life you get what you pay for.

Thanks.
I thought TCI was top notch equipment? Anyways you think I'll have an issue with TCI getting another TC? I mean I don't want money back just a working Torque cnverter. Don't these have some kind of factory warranty?
As far as my Stang goes I Still have an over consumption issue as car is burning more than double the gas! It is weird as it is'nt reving high anymore.
Transmission still kicks but that's probably the tune because of the 3000TC
Also unless i put stock calibration(tune) when car is cold it wont start or it wont stay started. Sounds like the exhaust is chocking when trying to start.
As far as Bama goes he said that the TC was new just returned and never installed. I mean I smelled it (b4 installing) there was no fluid in it. I hope I'm not that naive! I'm sure he'll come through he's a good guy!

Did anyone have an overconsumption issue after mods or an unbalanced tune?
I'm not talking about a 2-3 mile loss per galon (as expected from such mods anyways) I'm talking bout more than double the consumption!

Of course we'll take care of the issue. I'm just curious when this happened. It had to be before Bama/AM, because we literally just picked up TCI 5R55S converters. It sounds like he's talking about Doug, he keeps saying "he", so I imagine he's communicating with Doug?

Persisting problem!
I need all the help i can get from anyone! All feedback either from experience or knowledge of mustangs as I still can't get my car running!
As mentioned b4 I removed faulty TC and American Muscle was very kind and supportive and provided me with a new TC which I will be installing prolly after Christmas maybe even Spring when i get it in my hands! Thanks AM I hope this one works as I'm losing faith in TCI products...
However after eliminating the vibration and rattling problem now I have 2 more issues that will not go away!
Car will not start with tune! Although car started with stock calibration it did so with much effort. (car backfired and bucked)
What I did was remove the JLT 2 intake and put back on the stocker. Car starts fine but will not run good because of the mods.
2nd issue car still spits out gas when cold and consumes like crazy when running. I have no clue how to fix that.
It was major stupidity on my part to erase previous tune on the car (have no record of it) as car ran great started normally but after mods installed i figured i definetley needed a new tune and erased it. Thought everything would be fine but everything wasn't.
So now car has all mods below except TC and Intake with stock calibration. It starts fine and immediately with this setup but can not drive it because of the mods. Car will not start with custom tune.
Side Note: Car will only work on custom tune after car warms up with JLT intake on!
HELP?

Sounds like your tune is all jacked up. Make sure you provide your tuner with all of the proper vehicle information and mod list.

I'm assuming that they're Bama tunes by your signature?
Give Bama a call directly at 888.226.9764 Monday-Friday 9AM-5:30PM EST and let them know whats going on. They'll make sure that the tunes were written properly, make sure you go over the list of mods and make sure that they're all correct, and then make sure the tunes are being loaded correctly.
