I've waited 7 months to get this car back together and to race again, and I ended up with a low 11-second car. That's pretty dam quick if you ask me. And it's also already too quick for a car without a cage. If I keep it at 12psi and on a pump gas tune, I'm thinking it will run strong for quite a while. I'm not ready to start fixing things again.
But, having said that, I do have a one-time goal in the next few months. I want to hit a 1/4-mi track when the weather is really good. And we'll make a few runs on say 8lbs of boost, just to stay over the 11.50 mark. Then, on the last run of the night, I'll put the 12psi pulley back on, reflash with a race gas tune, and try to get a 10-second timeslip. That would be worth getting kicked off the track for.
