Spray painted my mufflers today with some good high-temp flat black paint. I think it looks tons better. The mufflers blend in a lot better and now you just see those big tips. I will post some pics tomorrow.

Please do. Ever since you mentioned it, I keep debating on doing it too. I have the stainless kit, and even with the ends of the mufflers being polished, I'm not too crazy about how it looks. Love the rolled tips though......... Thanks.

I had the Magnaflow axleback before this, and the mufflers were polished like your Bassani's. Sure, they lookd pretty... but when you are behind the car, they stick out like a couple of shiny sore thumbs.

I had the Loudmouths on my car for a couple weeks, and I have to admit... that was the best looking exhaust from the rear I have seen on this car.

I have those......the sound is AWESOME! Its pretty loud (I'd say about 1.5-2x stock) but only when you gas it.
Borla makes a very deep throaty sounding exhaust. I've had TONS of compliments on my exhaust. I've also set off a lot of car alarms especially in the parking garage I go to
You can't go wrong with those. And the 4" rolled tips look amazing from behind.

Thanks Dan, I am almost decided on those too, does any of you guys have or heard the coffin mufflers?
in the clip they sound amazing, but I don't know how well made they might be done, and maybe they are TOOO loud to handle.
Anyone has any info on those?
Thanks!

Hi guys, I spoke witrh the people from the dealership, they said that they can give me trouble with the warranty if I install the eshaust myself, and they gave me the price of Flowmasters installed for 350 bucks.
but I still like the slp LM's, how much of that is true about the warranty problems?? it is only the bolt on slp's...

Dealers like that are such a-holz. If you want to play it safe with them, put the LMs on yourself, but keep the stock cans. If you need to take it into the dealer, just swap them again. It would only take you 30 minutes or so.

Also total ripoff, I would not pay someone over 50 bucks for this install, it is easy as pie, if you live near CT, I will do it for free

Thanks Guys, I was pretty sure about it, the dealer guy told me that if it was proof of that the exhaust generated the problem the warranty would be voided, so, they did not lied 100%, just exagerated a little.
anyway, I will see what they have to offer on exhausts, and if I am not sold 110% I'll get the SLP's, after reading so many threads here, I end up between the borlas and the slp's, but the slp's are a little less expensive, and I am sure they will sound a little louder.
1 more question, what is the exact difference between the borlas and the "ford racing" made by borla??
other than the logo, I can't see any other difference.
there are a few of those on ebay, the price is interesting,
which ones would drone less? the "ford racing" or the LM's?
both sound very good posibilities.
Don_w, thanks for the tip, you are 100% right.
Thanks!
Martin.
