Don't take this the wrong way, I am a Ford fan till death, but do you really blindly hate Toyota that much? Do you really think their cars are that bad? Just curious.

Oh no offense taken at all
. I'm glad you asked.I have a big problem with them not releasing safety specs to emegency services about their hybrid vehicle the prius because of "trade secrets", its a long story. I have also learned about their declinin safety. My family has had no luck with them at all more than once so I just don't care or trust their company.
Just my opinion

which is highly valued
I like the 4runner, nowhere near as much of thrills as the Mustang, I have the sport package with the painted front and rear bumpers, the only 4runner it bows to is the limited. hey man, I knew posting about a foreign car on a American forum post would be flamed!! Oh well I can take it.

I hear you on the hybrid car thing. As far as I know, the firemen called to accidents have to have special training to deal with the electrical systems on the hybrids.

True, we wnet through training for the honda insight but toyota never supplied us with training material so we were left in the dark on that one.
Thank you for asking!
Sell the 4 Runner and buy a used Wrangler. Problem Solved! You'll have your self a real offroader that can actually go off road without getting stuck in a ditch and let me tell you, that I6 ain't no joke, it's a nice engine.

That's not good. I hope this helps: http://techinfo.lexus.com/public/main/1stprius.pdf
I'm puzzled why no one from Toyota helped. Took like 2 seconds to find on google.

Yes they press released it about a few years ago. Almost two full years after denying specs. And thats all they put out. No videos, no rep like Honda does, no classes no nothing. A pamphlet is still a joke compare to hands on teaching, especially when a vehicle is a mangled mess. . It was my senior year of high school so it was 1999 at the time this all started. I have no idea why they never wanted to help
You would think that would be bad for business. I even asked a dealer about that and she just looked at me and said "no comment, just a big mistake" I guess their company never heard of too little too late. We learned bits and pieces as we went along but were never sent the detailed info like Honda sent us, Honda even sent us a rep to show us where to cut on the insight, they had us take a class for the insight where we could actually cut the vehicle!
I mean what is so hard about doing that. toyota sits there and brags about all their safety but can't even give us the time of day and blows off peoples lives like their nothing? The electrical power going through those lines on the hybrids is no joke.
Notice how it says that this edition supercedes the one printed in 2000. Well we never got one here in the states in 2000.
Maybe they printed something and never released it to the US EMGS.
That frustrates and makes me not want to trust them even more. Either that means that their reps lied to us or they never released the print!!! OOOOOOO this makes me very angry
:bang: I will never trust toyota...ever!Yes I hold a grudge and I think justifiably so. To toyota I say "too little, too late!"

Its a darn shame isn't it?
If it's a turbo then I pick the Supra. That Cobra is one of the ugliest ones made. A turbo Supra has much more potential per dollar I think, and is a much better looking car. The interior is amazing, feels like a one man cockpit and fits like a glove.
