98 Supra VS. 98 Cobra
#2
The 1998 Cobra for sure! I hate toyota ! Their prius is a killer car (toyota would not disclsoe to our fire dept. where to cut on the a, b, and c pillars in case of an accident becuase it was "trade secrets" :nono: , btw honda gave us their details). The camry had problems with their engines seizing a few years ago and the new tacoma is considered very hazardous for rollovers by consumer reports. toyota also has a lot of voluntary recalls (which come out of the consumers pocket ) that and they get away with instead of mandatory recalls. My father in law bought a new tundra a few months ago and that thing is severley underpowered for towing his boat, the interior is cheap, the transmission is shifts like a kid learning to drive stick and the ride is way too mushy:ranting:. Okay enough with my rant.... I definetly pick the Cobra!

We're talking about Supras, not tacomas. Amuzing stories though :P
I chose the Supra because of the fact that it has a twin turbocharger and has an underrated 320hp/315tq.
98 Cobra had 305hp

Supras are some ugly bland poop, but their rareness (in the U.S.) and power are positives.

I just could never bring myself to buy any toyota. My dad had a tercel and it was awful. I despise them with every bone in my body. As you said they are some ugly bland poop... the poopiest in fact!

Amen bro! I always say that the F-150 is the best selling truck 28 years running for a reason. Plus it got a lot of awards and rave reviews this year! Go blue oval!

if anyone here has heard from me, they all no i am true ford, i got chewed out so bad because what i said about GMS attempt to try and resurect the GTO, i will put it simply, they failed Ford takes first every year at truck pulls here, their is one truck with 800rwhp and 1200ft-lbs at the wheels before the 250hp shot of propane, the truck has a cut and shortened exhaust from Peterbuilt  it is so sick!Andy, the supras were a big POS IMO until i saw their times with just turbo upgrades and boost hikes, they are quick, but they are too pricey.

Sounds like I'll have to move to Boonville. Reading is full of ricers all over the place with beat up fart-can lawn mowers.

yeah...kept waiting for Toyota to bring the Supra back, they hinted that they would:
but then I hear is gonna be over $75k  ...so in some ways it was good - it drove me to look at alternatives - was looking at the 350z and RX-8, then saw the concept 'stang and said wow, that looks like my Daddy's car! (he had a lime green 1970) and it's got a very 40 year history behind it. Can't complain...very happy with my choice....only wish now I could afford a Shelby GT500

Ewwww.... that is Fugly. The exhaust is horrible looking. toyota is not gonna sell a 75k car especially with their badge on it!
It looks like an rx-8 and lambo got drunk and .
Shudder.... toyota is really goin' down hill which is fine with me

Toyota surpassed ford at #2, and it's expected to pass up GM for the #1 spot as world's largest automaker
