i chose 69 boss only because no smog rules. if i didn't have to worry about what i did with a late model I would get a cobra in a heartbeat

I would go with the boss bc i like the way it sounds, feels and smells. I want the steering wheel to shake at red lights, i want one with out ac or power anything, one with no carpet.

A 1969 does have to pass emissions. 1967 and older is when you don't have to worry about it.

Actually, it varies from state to state. For instance- here in Cali, 30 years old is the cut off date. So anything before 76 doesn't have to pass emmisions, and next year, anything before 77, and so on...

You have to look up each state's laws in cases like this...
