GT/CS and plan pricing
GT/CS and plan pricing
I recently read an excellent sticky from ISELLFORD explaining the plan pricing ford offers. My wife's got a relative who is/was a ford employee, which should amount to A or Z plan. I'm confused / looking for help on GT/CS pricing under the plans.
The first question is about MSRPs and invoices. I saw this info in the for sale forum when a guy was talking about the price another member was asking for his car being sold:
This was posted in another thread and has thoroughly confused me:
"MSRP $30670
Invoice of $28600
$28560 for x-plan, no doc fees allowed.
There is a $500 rebate also.
X-plan pins available all day from BON.
Your identical car can be had for $28060, all day long."
The thread is here:

He was talking about the pricing of a GT/CS someone was trying to sell. The flaming in the thread aside, I thought that you had to get a premium GT in order to add the $1,800 GT/CS option. A premium GT retails at almost $30K by itself doesn't it? With the $1800 GT/CS option, wouldn't that send the MSRP up to around $32K before any options go into it and not the $30.6K suggested in this guys post?

Next question:
If the info from the other thread on the MSRP and invoice is right, then that places a GT/CS invoice at AROUND $28.6K.
If ISELLFORD is correct (I've no reason to doubt), and the A or Z plan would be a discount of ~ 4% of the invoice then the A or Z plan pricing of a GT/CS, assuming a $29K invoice, will be around $27,840
29000 x .04 = 1160
29000-1160 = 27840
Is this about the way it works and is that about the way the plan pricing would shake out?
Does anyone have any GT/CSs in inventory they can check plan pricing on to see if this is correct?
Also, will dealers accept plan pricing on these cars, do any of you?
thanks for any help guys!
