Can any of the dealers who may already have delivered some 08's tell me if they are hit with the GGT and, if so, how much?

 

There is none, from the window labels of regular GT's that I have seen on Ebay.

yea I would think not, they actually get pretty decent mileage if you drive it easy. (stock anyway)

 

i still cant get over the fact the shelby GT has a gas guzzler tax. for just 25 more hp. thats sad

 

It's only 19 more hp. Yeah I hate that extra 1K I'm giving uncle Sam.

 

 

the Shelby GT has 4:10 gears folks, thats the difference right there.

Oh no it doesn't. 4:10's were never in the mix. They had considered 3:73s but never delivered.

 

this does not make sense.... the Sticker on SGTs says 16-23 EPA....=GGT.

'08 Gts sticker says 15-23 EPA...=no GGT.....I need an explanation.

 

They changed the way the MPG is computed for the sticker, but not for the GGT. The SGT, which is an 07, uses the old way of computing MPG. It'll be lower in 08. But the same method is used to compute the GGT this year, so the GGT will be consistent. No GGT last year, none this year. GGT last year, still have it this year.
