I ordered my car in early July. I called for an update on my order today and long with being unscheduled my dealer told me that my plan PIN wasn't working.
Is there a way to check with Ford Corporate to see if the PIN is good? Quite frankly, I don't believe my dealership and I think they're trying to screw me now that i'm locked in with my $500 non-refundable deposit. Anyone else have a similar experience with a dealer?
P.S. I saw tungsten today :notnice: Changed my order to Perf. White

should be D-plan. The dealer said he checked my PIN with all the plans and no dice.

thanks for the links. Problem is, I'm not a Ford employee. My uncle works for Ford and told me it was a D-plan PIN. My dealer accepted the plan price knowing my Uncle was the employee, not me. For $1,000 under invoice, I wasn't asking any questions but I have a feeling someone caught on.

D-plan is dealership employees and immed family. If your uncle is a Ford employee all you can get is x-plan friends and family. The employees A-plan is not good for nephews.

That's fine, but how did he get the PIN in the first place?

Hey Mark, in reference about your PIN not working. I run into this sometimes at the dealership. When someone gets a PIN # for their relative, friend, whathaveyou, the way the name is given to the PIN headquaters, HAS TO MATCH the way the car is titled. For example, If John Smith is asking his father for a PIN, and his dad is the Ford Employee, and Dad calls PIN HQ's for the PIN, and gives his's son't name, John Smith, NO middle initial, to the operator, and the PIN is in that form, but the son told the salesperson to title the car as John B. Smith, the PIN will not work. The names have to match up. Hope this answers your question.
