At-home DIY Caster/Camber alignment tools?

Anybody use one of these:

http://store.specprod.com/CGI-BIN/LA...0C8022+M37+ENG

or these:

http://www.longacreracing.com/catalo...id=129&catid=5

to set your own alignment at home? How well do they work? Wondering if I should pick one up for when I flip the J&M C/C plates for HPDEs.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

I've used the longacre one with the computer scale--I'd get the bubble scale that's in your post. The computer scale can get extremely, extremely inaccurate if left in the sun (say, AT A TRACK DAY).

Just get a digital torpedo level from sears--they go on sale for $20 or so all the time (http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00948295000P) and a length of aluminum angle cut to the diameter of your wheels.

Dead nuts accurate for camber, plus you can use it for other tasks.

I've got and 18" aluminum carpenters level. Works great. It's nice to use my old tools for something now that I'm a desk jockey.
