My car is new and had some fine scratchs already from everyday driving. Can't keep it new forever...

They were taken out/covered up by using Z5 (it does a great job)
Z5 does NOT take anymore effort than Z2 (at least from what I've used)
Mind you it doesn't hurt to throw on one coat of it for good measure.
but no you don't need it.

You can use JUST Z2Pro and have a spectacular shine.

I washed the car with Dawn, then I checked the paint using saran wrap over my fingertips like the Zaino site recommends. I didn't feel any bumps, so no need to clay bar. I then applied 4 coats of Z2.

It means I applied the Zaino 4 times. It's amazing how easily it buffs off! I would recommend the Ultimate kit. It's got everything you need to really detail it out!!

Thanks Dave! It won't be long and you'll have yours!!

So whats the best procedure. Hand wax it and hand buff it or use an actual buffer?

Definitely by hand. There is no need for a buffer.....you don't even have to rub hard, you'll be amazed at how easy it is. When applying, first you use a circular motion, then side to side. On the vertical surfaces, circles, then up and down.

Thanks for bringing the thread back from the dead

I already zaino'd once this year... once coat.

That's the great part, after applying so many coats, that it takes one coat after to bring the shine back

I'll have to get more pics when the new parts come in....
