Tom, I'll smear tar on Pete's car for you next time he's not looking, LOL. Actually pete, you seemed to do that on your own

Hey Tom,
When Dan and I were at the dealership looking at more 05s...i did have some either tar or grease on the right side of the car.
Came off rather easily.
Dan:
I was washing it on Sat, prepping to put more wax on it....I wiped the underside of the rocker panel...COVERED in that crap.
Word to the wise...concentrated Zaino carwash helps get it off VERY easily...

They could use some of that at the Boucherville (Montreal) dealership. I stopped by there yesterday and the Stangs out by the road were FILTHY!! Had a W/B gt that needs someone to take it home and give it lots of tlc.

At least the wax made it easy to get off.

I went to the Zaino site and the testimonials section. The guy whos car had the duck that fell in love with it's own reflection and the pecked at the car posted the pictures there, I love that story.
If I get the Redfire 04GT I'm looking at tomorrow I guess I should start using Zaino, that color would look good with their products....from what I've seen.

Thought I would add a picture of my freshly Zaino'ed 05 to the thread.
Washed with Dawn, claybar, polish with DA polisher and Pinnacle swirl remover, one coat of Klaase AIO, 4 coats of Z2Pro, 2 coats of Klaase sealant Glaze, and waxed with Pinnacle Souveran.
Took about 12 hours, but I had a week off with lots of time to kill!

That Zainos works like a champ.
I know its been done already, but this was the reflection off my windveil blue after 3 coats:

And a view of the hood:

I've been using the Z6 to keep it clean/shiney too, works great.

I plan on doing my first Zaino application next week on my recently delivered legend lime... After the proper prep of course, I plan on applying multiple coats of Z2/Z8... I'm planning on skipping the Z5 since the new car doesn't have any scratches or swirls to fill... Earlier on in this thread it looks like many people are starting with the Z5 as a base anyway... is there any particular reason that people are starting with the polish for scratches on your new cars (especially when the Z5 takes more effort to buff off versus the Z2)??? Think I'll fire off an email to the zaino people to get their recommendations, but I'd be interested to hear what you guys think...

Thanks, this thread is great. I just picked up my Windveil Blue tonight and was wondering about the Zaino. Due to the pictures, I'll order it right away.
