Gallop Around the Bay
--All Mustang Cruise--
Flyer at bottom of post
Park & Ride (sort of)
So, the directions are
Take the Ashby exit in Berkeley.
Turn right and the first stop light 7th Street (unmarked). There's an Ashby Lumber, 76 station and a West Marine store.
Turn right on to Folger Ave and then an
immediate left on to Hollis St (the road naturally curves that way)
One block to 67th Street.
Take a left
You'll see me BLack '05 GT and a banner.
The planned route is to meet at the Park & Ride in Berkeley 67th Street @ noon.
....At 1:00 we’d begin by getting
.......on I-80 west across the bay bridge then
.......on 101 down the peninsula then
.......on I-84 across the Dumbarton Bridge and then
.......on 880 back to the Berkeley
75 miles, 1hr 48min.
PM me and we'll try and set this up.
I'd like to try and get 50-100.

Where in Central CA are you? My wife and I are in Pacific Grove almost every weekend visiting her parents.

I think I'm going to go into my local Ford Dealership and see if I can get some help getting the word out. How many ford dealerships do you think there are in the 7 bay area counties.
Tentatively keep Saturday may 14th. meeting at noon drive at 1pm

That sounds like a lot of fun. I am game as of now. My schedule changes frequently. I am from the Sacramento area. My wife loves IKEA, so no problem getting the "OK"...haha

I'll keep it posted here, I'll try and get in stickied. Maybe that'll help it pick up momentum.
Any one good at webpage design or just simple art. I was thinking of putting together an e-flyer that I could send to all of the bay area ford dealers so they could pass on to all the '05 purchasers.
I was thinking of a map of the bay with the pony and 3-bars in the bay.

Actually more like central valley, Manteca to be accurate. Moved from Sna Ramon to Manteca 15 years ago so I could drive farther to work(Livermore).

Awhhh I was hoping for sooner than May! . . . haha . . . but hey Im still in! . . . Im in the San Ramon Valley (bout 45 mins from IKEA) . . . I can ask my cousin if she can design a flyer for us (BTW she is a graphic designer) and if not I can give it a try . . . but Im not promising anything . . . post wat exactly u want it to say . . .

I figure if I can put it out there far enough we can get quite a presence on the bay area freeways.
