Window Seals- How do I protect them?

I've heard there are products available to use on window seal rubber to keep them from cracking. Just wanted to know what you would recommend. I assume these are silicon based products? Any tips would be muchly appreciated.

I use 303 Aerospace Protectant. It's not silicone based and does a super job on my tires, rag top and plastic and rubber seals and trim. You can get it on line but I found it at my local boat supply store.

I used to use Glyserine from your local pharmacy its a clear liquid whipe on and it kept all the rubber seals soft and supple , I used to use that when I lived in the dry prairie region mostly on the Gov't trucks I used to take care of. a little old lady told me that and Pam veggie spray oil on crome if your in a heavy bug zone even tried it on my Cougar's paint and no i'll effets but I worrie about an oil than can be heated on a painted surface.

This is a great site for auto care products ( http://properautocare.com ). Most of their recommended products contain UV protection for vinyl, leather and rubber seals. This UV protection is especially important for convertibles, which tend to wear out their seals more quickly.
