I'm with you Rene'. '01 Escape in the winter. I'm not paying $28,000 for a car to be pelted by sand trucks, hit by ice and potantially other drivers etc. If it means garage queen in the winter, then so be it. My car will stay nice.

I've had my '96 M3 in winters in Ohio, and people still say it looks cherry. If you look close enough, there's a few nicks here and there, that I've used touch-up paint on and the like -- but you have to look close. But for me, a car is meant to be driven and enjoyed. After all, it is a transportation tool. Not driving a car because it is winter to me makes about as much sense as not making love to my wife because I don't want to get her pregnant.
