Snow tire advice ne1?
Just got my 07 GT Convertible this spring - enjoying every minute and mile! Sooner or later, I'll need to think about snow tires. Any advice to offer on wheel / tire packages for snow. My GT has the optional 18" wheels, and it's my first ride equipped with TPMS. Thanks!

Had Dunlop snows on my 2005 GT for 4 years throughout the winter months, and they were quite good. Last year I got new Blizzaks for this past winter, and I have to say, SIMPLY AMAZING!
For my new 2011 GT, I'm definitely going with Blizzaks again!
As for your TPM's, don't worry about it. If you get a rim, don't even bother putting them on a new rims. My buddy at work got winter tires on a steel rim for his 2010 track pack GT, and all he had to deal with was the TPM light lit up on the dash. He had no issues!

I've had Goodyear Eagle Ultragrip GW3's on my 05 for the last two winters and they've been awesome.

Really good traction even with 6+ inches of fresh snow and ice. They also handle nicely on the dry pavement so you don't have that "snow tire" feeling in the dry weather.
edit: looks like they don't have the proper size anymore at TR. I would probably do with the blizzaks. Snow tires make your life a lot better when you live in snowy areas. I'm more confident driving the stang with the snow tires than my wife's 4wd CR-V with all seasons.
