The absolutely most annoying thing with yellow though is immediately after you are done washing it, you will notice it is covered with bugs - live bugs and dead bugs who drown in the water drops before you dry it. Easy enough to solve though, just hose it down to rinse the lil bastards off then dry before they come back.

yes i have noticed dead bugs flock to my car. argh. Bee's like to get stuck inside it in the summer to (eeeeeek!)
I will also *alas* have to put a front tag on my '05 yellow GT when it gets here i've already gotten pulled over in the neighboring town that i drive through every day, because i didn't have one on the front of my yellow 99... i didn't get a ticket, but i don't want to risk one next time.

i do have to say that yellow is a hate it or love it color though, i have had many people tell me how much they love my car and others say...."ummm it's really yellow....and ummmm"
so just make sure you like it and thats all that matters

I don't know about the cleaning part since I have or never will own a yellow car. But for the mustang the yellow is the least appealing color. Also yellow has the worst resale value of the colors documented in a study I read.. Stick with the silver most definitely.

I really don't know about yellow having a lower resale value, in the past perhaps but I got to believe that will be changing. Yellow is becoming a more popular color, and as it maintains its popularity its resale will likely go up. I may be wrong, but just what I believe. Part of the reason I bought yellow was because it was so uncommon, now I see yellow on all kinds of cars and trucks that never seemed to have yellow before. Also, seems like I see a higher proportion of yellow cars.
But like was said, if you want high resale value go buy a Honda, they last forever too, but not as much fun to drive.

I actually got more for my 200 special edition Mercury Cougar when I sold it BECAUSE it was yellow (Zinc Yellow)...Only 1 of 510 Cougars made that year in that color ( even got papers to prove it)......They are more rare because not as many are produced. My last car was silver, and there was a million other silver cars on the road, and I blended in like a needle in a hay stack.
I chose yellow again for my '05 Mustang GT because i did not want to be another car in the crowd.
If you like attention, this is the color for you. If you want to blend, then pick silver black red or white, and go un noticed. JMO.................
