Is Screaming Yellow paint high maintenance?

I ordered Satin Silver because it seems to be a color that hides dust, swirls, and slight scratches better than most other colors.
But, I'm reading all these posts about how great the Screaming Yellow looks, and I'm SERIOUSLY considering changing my order, since I don't have a build date yet.
I've never owned a yellow car, so I just wondered how it compares to other colors as far as looking good when it gets a little dirty... I wash my car once a week as long as the weather is above freezing, but is that enough with a yellow car?
What do you yellow owners think?

Yellow stands out and looks good if its dirty or not. If you want people to look at you get a yellow car. too bad ford didn't make a tangerine orange Mach1 this year, I would have bought it. I think orange is the only color that stands out more than yellow.

Well I don't have a yellow stang but I did notice you ordered ICAP with I thought I would point out is NOT avaible with Yellow.
So if you really want that option I would stick with the silver.
Now my Uncle has a 94 Yellow Vert with White Leather & White top & he seems to love the color. It defient;y gets you noticed & doesn't appear to me to show dirt as much as other cars. But again like I stated to begin with I don't own that color. So that's just been my observation.
Anyway. Cheersmates.

I have a Yellow 02 and I've always gotten comments on it! Good ones at that! I can see the swirls pretty easily some days but others not. I keep my car pretty clean most weeks but when its dirty its still beautiful.

Easy to maintain......
Hides dust well......
Cleans Up nice..
Gets Noticed....
Be prepared: Canary, Big Bird, School Bus, Taxi......
Its a look at me color, which depending on the day can be good or bad.
Rammer Jammer Yellow Hammer...... I love it.

Yep, yellow is a bit tougher to maintain. Regular dirt and dust show up faster on it, and any kind of mud or debris from the road will show up instantly, BUT I wouldn't trade my color for any out there. Screaming yellow turns heads and gets attention like few other colors out there. I have had my car for 5 weeks now and almost every day I drive it I see someone gawking at me from their car, or chatting me up at a gas station or stop light .
How can you resist this

Nick. Your front bumper Was it there before or after you bought the car?

Anyways, I live in Texas and was most likely going to have to do something, we require a front plate here. After all the dealership did to accomodate me, including accepting x-plan and all my visits etc... if that is the only thing that was wrong, I can live with it.

I couldn't have said it better myself...
BUT...I find that bugs love to hang out on my car and brake dust is impossible to keep off of the car. It sure is beautiful though...especially without a front tag!

Yellow hides dirt just as well as silver, it just looks a mile better and a lot less boring.

This is how mine will look.

As long as the car isn't filthy it looks clean... there's been several times when people note how clean I always keep my car and I looked over at it knowing it was quite dirty to realize that it did look just about spotless. I think it is incredibly easy to keep looking really nice.
The absolutely most annoying thing with yellow though is immediately after you are done washing it, you will notice it is covered with bugs - live bugs and dead bugs who drown in the water drops before you dry it. Easy enough to solve though, just hose it down to rinse the lil bastards off then dry before they come back.
