Rear bumper skin
So while spending 5 minutes in Blockbuster tonight someone managed to nail my back bumper and take off before I could catch them. Ironically, I was parked around beside the building so no one would DO that. As a consequence, there are no cameras turned that way and they couldnt tell me who it was -not even a description of the car. I guess the good news is that the bumper isnt bent and didnt take any damage that I can tell, only the skin. Anyone able to give me an estimate on what its going to cost to replace, or if its even possible to get them yet?
Call saleen, they probably have a pile of them that they will get rid of for cheap.
You may luck out and get the same color as your car. If that is the case, take it to a bodyshop and have them swap/align the two, unless you are good at those things. Althogether that should set you back about $200.
Depending on the condition of the bumper cover, if they can patch it up, it will probably set you back $300 or so.

I had my bumper cover dinged up on Christmas Eve. Someone backed into it and took off. It wasn't cut, bent or anything like that. My dealer took the cover off, prepped the area that was damaged and painted it. It took it in at noon and received it back the next afternoon. It cost $216 to the job and it looks good as new.
