In my travels, I've picked up a mist of white paint (water base) on my car from someone painting a building in the area. The mist is actually so fine that it can't be seen unless the car is in a certain light, but then it shows up very clear.

Anyone have success with a product for this?

Thanx,

Paul

I had the same problem with my black '03. The ONLY thing that would get it off my car was a clay bar.

If clay bar does not work you need to wet sand the area using 2000 grit paper. Then use a fine polish, wax and away you go. I had the same thing happen to me years ago. What a pain.

Thanx John;
The clay bar works if you clay a very small area three or four times. :notnice: You know, an area the size of a tennis ball!
I ordered a paint cleaner/swirl remover from Zaino and I am hoping it will take care of the problem. I actually thought of using the swirl remover with a little hot water, since I know the paint spray is water base. Otherwise, I'll give the 2000 paper a try.
