New Car Smell

Are there any good sprays or air freshners out there that successfully reproduce that awesome "new car smell"? I have a new car and the smell is starting to wear off. Any recommendations?

Almost 6 months and the Stang smells the same as it did when I drove it home. I know that they're are several products out there that claim the scent of a new car, but do they really ?

Maybe your nose is acustomed to the smell. Whenever I have someone riding with me they tell me they love the new car smell. I on the other hand don't smell anything......

Be careul what ya wish for.........
:A 1995 analysis of the air from a new Lincoln Continental found over 50 volatile organic compounds, which were identified as coming from sources such as cleaning and lubricating compounds, paint, carpeting, leather and vinyl treatments, latex glue, and gasoline and exhaust fumes. An analysis two months after the initial one found a significant reduction in the chemicals. The researchers observed that the potential toxicity of many of these compounds could pose a danger to human health.

Yup have to becareful I did flood & fire clean up as well death related too and some of the triaining I had was the=at most plastics off gas things like latex in the carpeting in your home, light switch plates , and appliances , the worst was when they became heated or say a electrickettle was left on a stove and catches fire That is Very Liethal if you inhale that just may be your last breath you'll take. Also a lot of new homes people develope respratory problems as a result of all this off gassing, so we may like the smell but fresh air is better. Ed
