I'm so happy to be back. I just got done detailing my car. I had to, I had new windows and tint put in the doors. She looks so nice now. I got an apartment and it has a garage with an outlet so I can use a buffer again if I want. I don't care if my car is 8 years old, has scratches, and a few chips.....she still shines up nice! Thanks Meguiars.

Yeah the nxt cleaners are awesome. I just waxed my car about a month ago so I didn't want to do it again so I used the booster wax they sell and it looks just like I waxed it again. The booster wax is really easy to put on and off and it really helps to "boost" the shine of the pre-existing wax.

I took first place at a MCA show in Biloxi with a coat of NXT--cured for 24 hours with NO water or liquid hitting it--and then two light coats of Gold over top. That was in May, Car STILL shines up very well. Here's a pic.

I took it all off, cleaned, clay barred, polished, NXT'd, Gold Classed, Gold Classed.

I found that the NXT came off really easily, but that was after a clay bar rub down.

Did it all by hand, too. (Thought I was going to end up with Popeye arms!)

Forgot to add that the Ivy Green paint is over 10 years old . . . Not too shabby for a daily driver!

Well, the snow is almost all gone, the temps are back up into the 60's. I'm going to do a complete detail to the car tomorrow. It's all Meguiars
NXT products, I'll take pictures. No buffer so it's all going to be by hand. Serious Karate Kid skills. It'll be nice bonding with the car again. Hopefully I get the new seats tomorrow too.

Talking

I recently switched to NXT Tech Wax after using Simply Z-Best Car Wax for over a year. And I must say I couldn't be any more impressed. I will still use Z-Best - mainly for the rims, interior chrome and to clean the body panels before waxing, but for the meantime, it's NXT for me. BTW, Paul, I love that '66 coupe of yours.
