Question Hard to remove smudges on windshield help

For some reason were the wipers stop on my windshield there are smudge lines. I tried going over it twice with class cleaner but they are not coming off. Anyone had this issue? If so what is good to use other than glass cleaner.

fine polishing compound has ayways worked for me; buffer or hand. hand rub'll probably get it. sounds like new blades are in order. luck.

I would try one of the nylon kitchen scrubbies.

Ouch! I used one of those on my stainless microwave surface and it actually scratched it! It may depend upon which type of nylon you use.
