Too bad you couldn't avoid the deer in the first place(swerved or hit the brakes)look ahead and anticipate things. It would have saved you and the deer from all this trouble.

darn...why didn't I think of that! All the above were performed, but I must admit I didn't swerve as hard left as I should have. If I had I would have missed the deer and impacted the front end of the car coming directly toward me. But what can I say, I have only been driving for 34 years, perhaps a little more practice would do the trick.
Well, I got the car back for the second time. They buffed it up nice this time, no swirls in the paint and they got 90% of the dirt out of it. With the car in the sun it looks great, you can't tell it has been repaired at all. The paint blend is as good as it gets. With the car in the garage under the lights, you can see minor sand scratches at the areas they removed the dirt. The hood has several small work spots on it. All in all I guess it can't get any better, after all this is a production shop, and as Dan pointed out, "it's not a show car". So I'll have to say I'm pleased with it, it is what it is. I have to thank Sam the manager, he was great. So hopefully that will be the last visit to a body shop for my Stang.....God willing.....
