I park on the roof of my parking garage at work - mostly because it can hold about 200 cars and maybe all of 3 cars ever park up there, wheras the rest of the garage is pretty crowded and I got 2 door dings in my other car in the span of a month.

ANYway..the other day it rained cats and dogs and ....dirt the other day. When I got out to my car, part of the vert top and the back of the trunk had a lot of dirt all over it. I took the car to the car wash the next day, but when the dude was all done doing the tires, I noticed dirt spots on the top. He ran a wet rag over it, but to no avail. When I got home, I tried a small amount of windex and well - that did absolutely nothing too.

I don't want to damage the top, but it appears I need to use something more powerful to get these spots out. Is anyone aware of a decent non-harmful cleaner that might work?

Thanks!

definately don't use windex on a rag top. The ammonia in it can really do some damage, especially in direct sunlight.
