Cleaning The Mat Under The Hood

Hello everyone!

The mat under my hood needs to be cleaned. Any tips or suggestions as far as techniques and products to use?

Open your hood and take it thru a high pressure touchless car wash! You'll get a bonus engine cleaning as well!

Take it off and throw it in garbage.

Depending rinse it from a two foot minimun with a pressure hose. Rinse it with a hose and wash it with a soft bissel brush.

Take it off and use leather dye to re-blacken it. It wipes down better after doing that. Re-apply as needed.

I took ours off and hit it with just a water hose. It cleaned it enough. Didnt get all the little inperfections out but it got all the dirt off.
