"Cheap" Trunk Protection

Since I carry alot of stuff in the trunk, I wanted to get something without paying a fortune. Went to Lowes and picked up a 3' x 6' rubber mat (they cut the length) for about $10. Took the bottom carpet out to use as a pattern and it fit like it was made for it.....

The 36" matting is about 6" shy of covering the whole trunk. It is more slippery than the carpet but I tie down my tool box, etc either way.
