Hi all,
First post for me...
I just purchased some Lloyd's vinyl protector mats for my 05' stang. They fit great, but i noticed after a few hours that they emit a strong chemical odor that messes greatly with that sweet new car smell. Is there any way to remove the chemical odor? Is it just the properties of the vinyl used? Thanks for the advise, and great site!!

i had the same problem...i got some vinal floor mats and they did smell really strong at first but i found that after awhile the mat smell went away and you could still smell the new car scent...but i'm sure if you were really worried about it you could just leave them outside to let them air out to get most of the smell out and then put them in your car.

Sunlight does wonders for smelly mats.
