Car cover

Does anyone have the Noah car cover? If so how do you like it?

I bought the superweave a few yrs ago form Cal car cover.Very nice. Was wondering if the Noah would be any better ot the same.I noticed the material is a little thicker.Seems it would protect against small hale considering I keep my car outside.

What are your thoughts?

I do not have the NOAH but ordered a Evolution (Technalon) cover which is one step down. A buddy of mine has one and recommended it. I will give you some feedback when mine comes in and have it on for a bit.

When I built my BULLITT on Ford's website the car cover was not an option that could be selected. What's the deal with that? Does anyone know why the BULLITT cannot be ordered with a car cover?

What is a good car cover? What should you look for to get and/or avoid? I'm going to keep it in an unheated garage for now... but will eventually have a heated garage. Is one better than the other?

If its going to stay in the garage, go with the superweave from Cal Car Cover. It fits like a glove and is high quality. For added protection, you can go with the Noah to get a flanel interor lining.

Get the Noah....ESPECIALLY if you are keeping the car outdoors! I've had a few and got MANY years of service out of them. They are thick enough to protect from hail and the quality is great. I got mine from California Car Cover.

Just got mine ( NOAH) the other day and it is a better fit that the one I bought for my 01.It doesn't look like I will need the extra grommets to hold it down for windy days. This cover is much tighter at the bottom.Very happy,

Does anyone want to buy a cover that fits an 01 Bullitt? It is the superweave from Cal Cover.I had extra grommets added for windy days.

OK, got my cover ordered from my dealer. Will I have to remove my antennae to cover the car?

Cool TMS Mustang Cover!!

We got CalStang's new TMS car cover from Mr. "KC". Just love it!! The cover is a nice tight, perfect fit. Comes with a security cable, antenna grommets etc. Nicely made and at a great price. Pretty much kicks all others out the door for the dollar value! CalStang is now stored out in the shop on his jackstands during this winter. FYI: We do remove the antenna before covering up, so we didn't have to put a new grommet hole in the cover. But if you want a flannel liner, you may have to pay the price for getting an upgraded model! "RC"

For indoors, I like the Covercraft Dustop. It doesn't leave flannel on the top and seems to do a great job. Plus it has enough body to protect the car from garage traffic.

Arrow get an ANTENNA SLEEVE with your car cover!

California Car Cover (CCC) will customize any cover you buy from them with an antenna grommet, or an antenna SLEEVE at no additional charge (except shipping, I guess, since they want you to mark the cover and return it to them for the customization).

The "sleeve" should provide better protection from the elements if the car is going to be kept outside.
I view this as a big enhancement over either using a grommet to fit the cover over the antenna (and leaving a hole for dust, wind and rain to enter under the cover), or else having to remove the antenna every time you want to cover the car!

Note well that Ford sells car covers as an accessory. Their Noah cover may be available to add to the car purchase, or it may be ordered through parts. It lists for $261.91 or $269.90 (I saw both numbers); their part number 5R3Z-19A412-EA.

Ford also sells a more expensive car cover (lists at $310.94; their cost is something like $250) which includes the Nextec(R) encapsulation process. This is similar to CCC's Superweave material, which they recommend over a Noah cover if you are going to keep your car outside in the hot sun or rain.

CCC's custom car cover (with or without the antenna sleeve modification) costs $319.99, plus shipping. I wish I had known this before buying my car cover from Ford.

Got a Noah cover on my SVO. It's been 3 years and it's holding up well. I liked it, so I just bought a Noah cover for my '05.

The construction is "quilted" (for lack of a better word) so you're protected from small debris and animals that plant their butts on your hood. It breaths well and has weathered wind, snow, heat and rain without fail.

I bought car covers from CCC for years they are made by Covercraft Ind.so if you can find covercraft at a cheaper price than CCC you get a good deal. I have a custom fit weathershield by covercraft on my 2008 gt/cs in red fabric very light weight no scratch on the paint easy to take with you shake water right off great warranty but it will not protect from hail as it is very thin. For the antenna I took mine to a auto upholstery shop and had a hole cut out and double stitched around it cost $15.00, with a 4" antenna works great
