Were finally gettting the dent out of the drivers door on ou93 and Im wanting to shine it up for show season. Im not really sure what to get though. I know someone is going to say Zaino but thats out of the question since its too expensive. Heres what I think I need.

Mother's california Gold Claybar (the kit with carnuba wax)
some kind of polish

Not sure what kind of polish I should get. The only claybar around here is the Mother's California Gold one. Im going to Auto Zone tomarrow to look at what they got. Let me know what I should look at.

BTW I dont think the car has ever been polished before. I know the car was repainted but im not sure what they did to the paint after the repaint.

 

Just to let everyone know I went today and got the Mother's claybar kit and some Zymol cleaner wax. When it clears up Im going to paint the quarter trim and then polish it. Hope this is the right order:

wash
claybar
wash
polish
wash
wax
mist of cold water
wax
mist of cold water

I might do 3 coats of wax. Depends on how much the 4 oz. bottle will do.
