Would you rather have a 2008 GT or 2013 V6?
Your V6 looks awesome! I would keep it, enjoy the mileage, and the 300+ horsepower that is there when you need it. Most of us drive the same speed as you going to and from so have 400 horsepower is nothing but a number anyway. The few seconds we get to enjoy our cars out of the hours we drive them sometimes is not worth it in the long run.

Definitely keep it.
I'm a V8 guy. I would never buy a V6, let alone a V6 Mustang. However, I am a proponent of saving up and paying cash for whatever car I buy. So the choice between an older (but preferable S197 bodied) Mustang V8 vs a newer V6 would be more about the best financial decision for me.

I personally like the 05-09 body style, and I personally like the ford v8 loping sound over the v6 spurting. But in my opinion I'd keep your 13' if you are the first owner. Either way a Mustang fan is a Mustang fan. To each his own......
V6 Mustang's just don't sound right to me. Even if you modify the exhaust and such, you can't replicate the fact that it's not a V8. One of the best parts about owning a Mustang is the sound, and the V6's just don't have that. Don't get me wrong, the new V6 Mustangs are really nice cars for sure, but no way I would ever take one over an older model V8.

If its really important to someone to have the rumble of the V8 engine then you got to get a V8. I love the rumble of the V8 but don't love it that much and not important enough to sell a 13 V6 to buy an 08 GT.
V8's are awesome, but doesn't mean a V6 is bad. My v6 has a borla Stinger exhaust(ab), and I love it! doesn't need to sound like a V8 to be awesome. I've even heard some 4 cylinders that sound pretty **** good. Then there's motorcycle engines... love the sound of a nice v-twin

This is actually a difficult decision. On one hand your car is much newer then the GT with warranty and you are the original owner so you know its full history. The GT we know nothing about except that it has high mileage and seems to be mostly highway driven.
Realistically, the GT is a better car in terms of performance but in terms of value it won't really add up. Their 16k offer on your car is very low and they will easily sell that car for 19k a few weeks later. On the other hand, 10k for that GT is a really good deal. KBB should be higher then that by a few thousand. I just don't think the drop from 2013 to 2008/9 is worth it. Keep your car and enjoy it. It's reliable, looks great etc. You can always buy a 5.0 in the future. I anticipate 2011-2013 car's dropping in value when the new mustang gets released.

The V6 may be newer technology and I'm happy for those who purchased one, but I would have to say V8 for the sound and tork. Rumble rumble rumble.
