Winter tires: From eyesore to brownie points

We don't have a garage and I've got set of winter tires for both my GT and her honda sitting in the living room awaiting word of the first snowfall. Needless to say, my winter tire staging idea was not well received... Then it dawned on me, if it was a big fluffy bear or something, it could stay there as long as it liked. So with that, feast your eyes on this execution:

Hideous eyesore:

Say hi to Wheelie the caterpillar:

Indeed. She asked if it would at least turn into a butterfly at some point. Working on it...

Get rid of that boring looking picture and hang them all on the wall in a very tasteful arrangement!

What brand of tires did you get for the GT? I am looking for advice on all season. We get some snow where I live but I only drive to the local airport and back twice a week so I don't always encounter much. Last winter on the Pirelli's that are on it were a bit dicey at times.

We ended up going with Continental Pure Contacts for my wife's car. They do extremely well in light snow/ice. If I were doing all seasons, that is what I'd go with on my GT.

She most certainly does. I'm a lucky bum for sure.
