Does anyone know how to identity a pair of Recaro seats that were in an unknown year/model of Mustang? They need to be reupholstered, obviously. Here's a gallery of images: http://imgur.com/a/C6w0F

The numbers etched into the foam are not returning any results on Google and Recaro doesn't have a very helpful website with models or types listed anywhere. Are they LXF? Is there a year range for Mustang Recaros?

My apologies PrestigeMustang, but the best answer I have is that they came out of Mustang SVO.
I'm 99% sure of that, I just wish I could help you further.
Another long shot might be going to www.recaro.com to see if there's an archive section for factory installations.

Thank you! After using your information (combined with some helpful people on eBay) I have learned that these are in fact - NOT RECARO SEATS. They are "Recaro-style" seats, produced by Ford, for the SVO. You learn something new everyday in the Mustang parts business! Thanks

 

They are NOT recaro or even Recaro style seats....they are actually 86 SVO seats as indicated by the french seam but the seat itself is 84-86 SVO. They were made by Lear Siegler for Ford...NOT Recaro. Often a common misconception.
