It's a scary world out there and the least we can do is keep an eye out for our fellow man. I guess I'm from the old school mentality?
I'm a little bit old school also in that I probably wouldn't have been fighting fairly. Someone probably would have gotten stuck or sliced by me. I'll never start a fight but if I have to fight I will do what ever I think is necessary in order not to get hurt. I always have my little friend with me and sometimes a little bit bit more of a friend. You just never know what can happen.

Once the dust settles with my insulin pump and reckless driving ticket, I'll be getting my c&cwp immediately. I think a holster will also be next up along with that. Not that I can't handle myself in a fight (obviously), but if I'm getting 2 people jumping out at me after being rear-ended, god only knows what could happen if there were 4 of them like the big against 1 of me. Or even if they had weapons.. Scary thought but definitely possible. Thanks for the input Glenn, this only helps to motivate me for responsible ownership but to move forward with my Second Amendment right.

post some pics Wheelman! Pete IL. sucks for cc and sucks for gun ownership in general but there are some people working for us down state... uphill battle. At times I would rather break the concealed carry law in order to make sure me and mine are adequately protected which is what a few police men have told me. The police are usally to late to save your life so you have to do it yourself. Not knocking them at all its just the way it is.

Don't you think it makes more sense to allow the general populace to take up their own arms to cut down on police protection? People who carry are so much less likely to be mugged, assaulted, or have their homes broken into. Why would a municipality make it harder for a citizen to do that? I'm also curious as to why they would rather not track everything through CC Permits and yet have people not be trackable by taking vigilante justice into their own hands? I've heard Illinois' laws are a very mixed bag, hopefully you guys can get some ownership laws working in your favor real soon.

No worries on the cop comment, my local law enforcement is practically worthless unless it comes to writing tickets and issuing citations.

Only exhaust, CAI, new wheels and chrome lamps for the indicators at the moment but I only just got her. Chrome lamps are due to her being converted for use in the UK and the amber bulbs in clear lenses (formerly reverse lights) just look a tad odd.
