Thanks. I have enough confidence to attempt it, but I'm also prepared for failure. But I can't wait to at least get started. If turns out fubar, I'm only out $115, and I'll go to Plan B...pay someone to do it.

The kit comes with roof stripes which I obviously don't need, so I'll have a several feet of excess if I get into trouble.

Just in case though, I'm not taking apart the trunk lid until I do the hood. If that comes out good, I figure I'll be OK on the shorter panels. I'm planning on spending 2 full days on the whole deal, maybe 3 days....deck lid, spoiler, stripes, clean-up, and smoke breaks. Lots of smoke breaks.

Drove her to a small car meet-up. Mud splashes and all.

That's awesome. That is going to make the car handle 100% better. And look 100% better too, stance wise.
Very nice.

Thanks. It will help with tracking it more than anything. I'm not sure I'll change the stance too much when driving it on the street though. There's such a thing as too low.

Front control arms are all that's left on my list. Might change the hood down the road but that's for after the house. My wife is at zero tolerance with mods now.

Put the stang in the driveway (now that the sun is out and were getting at least three days at 70) so I can drive it and use it more, also now sitting close to 75K so its almost due for its service!

Maybe its time to upgrade the wife to a newer model.

Exactly. You can't beat coil overs for road racing/auto-x. Most of the pro-touring guys use coil overs, if not all of them.
When are you getting them installed?

Probably a couple weeks. Need to wait for a spot to open up in the shop.

You trying to get me divorced? She sees this and I'll be told I'm cavorting with more people as bad as Gary.

Your car must be such a beast now. I just read your mod signature. Very nice.

I've had my car out for about a month now. I think ours started a month before yours though. It sucks for sure!
