I drove the 500 Thursday for the first time in a while. I saw a guy whip out of a restaurant lot in a Ford truck as I came by and he came racing up behind me. I got caught at the light and he was behind me. I saw a flash in my mirror and noticed he was taking pics of my car with his phone.

 

Probably thought you were hot!!

LOL - in other words, preferred Mustang parking! Glad your car was still their with no ticket :-)

 

If your Mustang is parked and not running, then it's not emmiting anything or using fuel. That makes it 100% efficient.

There was no VC citing, so it was fine. And there was an Audi next to me. I was just worried about getting keyed by some Prius owner

 

As soon as I got to the show yesterday, two GT500s pulled in and I was ...the one guy gets out and goes "wow you got the Glass Roof??" And then I was lol

 

No matter what the other guy got, urs will always be urs and all of us here make our car our own in some way, so each one is unique and every Mustang is special! No worries- u got the glass roof &....many other things too, i'm sure. Everyone notices something different and every Mustang owner likes to see what the other guy has/did to his. We are a unique breed of car owners. I dont believe other car people are like Mustang owners-we all respect what each other has instead of putting each other down.

I was at one car cruise and overheard these people complaining about a 65 plain jane V6 being there. I had to open my mouth, of course, so what, it's a plain jane V6, but i bet u dont have a car that clean and that old, do u? They didnt know what to say & the owner overheard everything and winked at me. Made his day.

 

You said it! I forgot, when he got out he actually said "hey nice car!" first hah. And you mean I-6

 

Lol...i am not all that knowledgable on the engine specifics stuff...lol. Learning all i can. The hubby is my engine man.

 

That's what my wife tells me, I guess I get her motor running ;-)

JL Audio 5x7 speakers arrived today. They look VERY nice...especially for the $100/set price I paid. Actually has a real crossover (despite being a two way).

Can't wait to get an amp hooked up to them.
