What did you do with your Mustang today?*
All your fault Patrick.... Grrrrrr

Darren, love the new hood. See what no front plate gets you? Totally cleans up the car.
haha, i know the front plate is fugly, but when the cops drop a letter in your mailbox with a warning, ya gotta listen. my car is fairly 'unique' in these parts. front plates are mandatory in BC. Even the classics have them on somewhere. For now i'll see how long i can get away with it.

lol. Darren, have you ever thought of removing the side stripes?

I'm going to get the GT letters redone though. dont like the font

I agree with this!
That is actually an option i am considering. just continue the strips, no lettering. or the same font as used on the GT/CS. im considering both..
I admit that I have considered removing them altogether as well, but i like them slightly more with, than without. today i parked beside a '13 DIB coupe. got a chance to compare the stripes. she has also painted her 5.0's and the back gas cap a matte black. they look good. she left the centre GT chrome.

P.S. she was a very hot blonde girl. for a split second the idea of dating someone with a similar car flashed across my brain.

Lol dammit Darren why can't you be from Toronto. I need a GT with quad valance to do a test fit for Solo Performance! I like the stripes plain, and put the stripes back on the hood!
Cleaned throttle body, MAF. Replaced the Cabin Air Filter.
Tomorrow I'll try the K&N cleaner on my FRPP air cleaner #2. Of which I cannot get a straight answer now as to whether it is cleanable or not. At one point it was stated that it was (which is why I bought the cleaner).
It feels more like a fabric than paper. We'll see what happens...

The hood gets striped in a week or so. The guys were busy and the spoiler needs paint, then i can get them both done at the same time.
PS, btw Patrick, you can see see the CF hood just a tiny bit through the blue and clearcoat in the right sunlight up close.

Apologies for so many photos, but I'm rather pleased with this
Finally got booked into a local (UK) company, Detail My Car. I'd been keeping an eye on their Facebook page, and was impressed with the great results on some high-end cars.
The process consisted of a standard DMC wash routine, then machine polished in 2 (some areas 4) stages to remove as much in the way of swirls and scratches before finishing it off with Swissvax Best of Show
