Gotta Be a VERT! Can't Use a Coupe Visor! Be Careful! I think They are All Charcoal Black Which Depending on Age & Camera Look Gray or Black !

If You Get a Matched Set They Will Look Good Either Way!

This hasn't been easy. Tried for 20 minutes yesterday to talk with them, never did. Probably due to time difference. Tried again today and finally connected, got disconnected. Gave up on the phone and placed the order. Card was rejected, "Fraud Alert". A few minutes later I got a call from my card company asking if I had tried to make the purchase. I informed them it was me. They cleared the card, and I went back on the site and ordered the visor.

Your right being able to see the car made it easier to decide that it was the correct part. (I hope)

30+ Years in Ford Parts and Believe Me on More Than One Occasion We Just Had To Order & See What Exactly Showed Up! This Was Really Common in The Microfiche / Book Era and a Part Picture Was a Sketch on a Scratched Up MicroFiche. You Had To Be Part Detective!

I'm an Analog Man Just Trying To Deal With a Digital World! If I Had Not Got Cut Off At The Knee's in 2010 With All My Life Issues & Left The Site & Selling Mustang Parts All over The World I Would Have Just Known So Much More about The 2nd Gen S-197's. As it Is I Have Had To Play Catch Up in The Last Couple of Years Being a Regular Again Here on TMS.

I finally got the visor ordered. the photo's show the car to be like mine and the engine in the photo looks like a V-8 to me. But noticed on the receipt that it says coming out of a V-6. I'm hoping the visor doesn't care if it's a 6 or 8. I was thinking if you ordered a premium interior probably on the 6 or 8, they likely would be the same, Hoping!

I did give them the part number, but they turned down the VIN, before I got cut off on the call. Hopefully, the saga is coming to an end.

Thanks for all your help. I know how to drive them: that's my limit.

I stand corrected, saga not over. When we got home last night there was an email asking for my VIN from LKQ. Sent that to them and this morning I received a quote for two visors, one with garage door opener and one without. And with a $133.00 price tag. Yesterday I received a paid invoice, a charge on my CC and today I receive the quotes. Same ladies name on all of it.

On this quote, it stated only guarantee size and shape, not the color... Hopefully, somewhere close. They also, said my VIN doesn't show which variation color.

Getting pretty excited waiting to see what shows up.

Arrived Friday. Went on Utube to look at installations. Despite putting in 2012 Mustang Convertible, that really never showed up. Anyway, was going to work on it today but one Video on Utube said "you may have to disconnect the battery. It has a low voltage vanity mirror. I can't believe you would have to disconnect the battery for that. Appears a pretty easy install and a plug in. Shouldn't be any confusion on wiring, But double checking on the battery comment.

One of the other post suggested how to fix the existing visor, Going to keep it and try my hand at it.

You can't see me bowing to your expertise? Now, if the car is not turned on any reason you would have to disconnect the battery. I hope to do this tomorrow while the nurse is working with my wife. But I don't want to screw up my electrical system.

Mechanic Installed

Coal black in the garage, grey outside in the sun. It came out of a wreaked Mustang but in pretty good condition.

They started by singing The Parting Glass through, then the whole band joined in and then the band played it ending back to the four singers. The whole audience stood up and joined in. What an awesome experience. Over 500 people all singing together.

Hard choice, music or my Mustang.
