Interesting. I wonder how much more effort it requires to open the door, since you are basically pushing the door uphill every time to open it.

Thats a pretty sweet idea right there! Exactly how low does the s197 sit,
because i know on my sn95 the door opens right above every curb I've seen? More of an incentive to lower your stang if you know the doors aren't gonna be a problem.

my car is lowered and i scrape my doors all the time. guess i never really put much thought into ford "fixing" that problem. and where did you get all those pics?? lol

I'm guessing they are either somehow counterbalanced or power-assisted .
