call it whatever you want. The guy might be a nice guy and all but bad luck? Someone should never "try to do what everyone else was doing", especially on a street. It makes no sense to me why endangering the lives of others and yourself is thought of as bad luck. Now if that happened at a track, then yes, I would feel sorry for the guy and call it bad luck. Do you think the people in the cars that he hit are sitting there thinking "oh well, that's just bad luck"? I doubt it.
So now that does raise the question. As James said. If he was that good of a driver and use to handling a 10second car, what failed? Listening to the video I didn't hear him let off of the gas (until after the crash) and no brake lights. Did the gas pedal get stuck? Did something break?
