SA on Key

I have a 2014 Mustang Conv. and I only got one key with the car. It has SA stamped on the key. What does this mean? Also, I am having trouble resetting MyKey. I am thinking I do not have the admin key. I thought maybe SA had something to do with this. Any help would be great!

Its Encryption. S keys are Ford old PATS (passive anti-theft system) 40 bit encryption, the newer SA is an 80 bit encrytion that is backward compatible with old PATS using cars.

Do a system check and see how many admin keys are programmed.

SA ON KEY

it says that I have two keys and one is an admin. Like I said, I followed the manuel to reset the mykey, but the screen that says reset mykey never showed up.

Don't set a "my key" if you only have one key! You won't be able to set it back and the my key will limit the car in many ways.

Get another key for your car - why do you only have one key for a 2014, did you buy it used? If you lose the one key you have your only option will be to go to the dealer to have a new key cut and programmed. Get one now so you have 2 keys - and then you can buy a third key, have it cut, and will be able to program that one yourself.
