Why you selling?

How much for the stingers? I've been after a set but I'm short on cash. Still curious

hey guys... Working on the pics now, should have them up shortly. The only problem I had was the SCT X-Cal kept erasing the PCM completely. I was real close to not having a car this evening. But by plugging away at it, it finally uploaded the last two tunes. Let me tell you Adam and the guys at ST Motorsports are great people. Adam knows hit stuff. He wouldn't give up until it was right. I could not have asked for a better person to install the supercharger. To say I'm pleased is an understatement. If you are looking to get this done He would be the only person I'd have do it. Not saying that no-one else could, but I felt that confident in his work.

Final numbers...
454.26 RWHP
413.26 Torque.

A/F is right at 11 or so.
Timing is at at 16 degrees.
Rev limit is at 6300.

**** thing pulls like there is no tomorrow. Doesn't matter the gear. In 1st it hits the limiter F'n quick. I mean like NOW. Try not to make that mistake again. Still it's almost scary. No, it is scary. 100 comes up fast, too fast to pay attention to the speedo you have to watch all the other idiots on the road.

It doesn't whine as much as I'd like, but that's more to the exhaust...at the hit you can hear it but the exhaust takes over and really I was paying attention to the car/road/speed to notice.

Pics will be forthcoming. I have a bad pic of the dyno sheet but I'll get it scanned for a better view.

EDIT: how do those tires grip? Worth the investment? Brian are you looking into LCA's soon? Or any other suspension mods now?

Nah... if I was racing it I would push for more... push for more... push for more... but not for a non-raced daily driver.

Besides... none of you supercharged guys have caught me yet! So, why bother?

Looks great, Brian! And great numbers!

Thanks Tom I appreciate it. New wheels are hard to do on this car, IMO, because so few have "the look" If there was a way for me to put bigger/wider tires on the back with the stock bullitts I would have left them on the car, I love the way they look. That being said I have complete fallen in love with the Torq Thrusts. I wasn't so sure at first but I'm hooked now. There is that extra little aggresiveness that I dig. I do wish the fronts were a little less deep, but what can you do ?

Yet! I'm just getting started.

One pull was at 469RWHP running a "tad lean". At 12% drivetrain loss I'm not that far behind you at 535. Final numbers at 454 & 12% loss is 516.5. Not near 560 but not a bad number either

I'm not thumping my chest and pulling a mine is larger BS....I'm still stoked over the whole ordeal. It's gonna take a week to wipe the grin off my face. Overall unless I go completely insane I can not imagine needing or wanting more power than I have right now (yeah this will come up and bite me in the future)

I will get a forged bottom end. If I don't do something stupid and blow the thing sky-high it'll be my goal once I get a DD some time next year. I can add power when I need to, play at the track and not worry about poking holes in the block.

Oh yeah.....

I have more and I need some time to figure out a lead-in or what-ever but this will suffice for now.

I'm not thumping my chest either... just fooling around.

If I really want to be a smart-***, I'll re-point out that my car was dyno'd on a Super Flow Jet, which reads about 10% less than a DynoJet. So, technically, I'm at 523/556 at the rear wheels, and 615/654 at the flywheel. Say it isn't so... how could that be possible without at BAP??

But, I don't want to be a smart-***, so I won't point that out... Plus, I don't want to have to have my fuse cover tag re-made!
