No... I need to enter it into the proper class!
Whatever that means! Seriously, though... I've always liked those hinges that allow the doors to open normally for daily use, and vertically for a car show. I think on a convertible, they would look good at a car show.... not fully vertical, but maybe halfway up.
I wouldn't believe that anyway until I saw it on paper.

Don't worry about the ride. It will happen. Just be prepared to have your checkbook ready.
Engine bay looks like hell. The outside is OK but needs work and I need to do the inside... AND I gotta goodie bag stuff from 10:30 to 2 tomorrow. Not the smartest move ever having this done so close to a show, but what else could I do... say NO ??? :rolf3:

Good cause if you do will have to disown you.
If I ever go FI I won't even consider the polished. It's just to much of a pain to keep looking good on a DD. Don't get me wrong polished looks great but more suited for a weekend car.

he's backed off the "waste of money" Especially after watching it on the dyno. Gave him a quick ride and it was a short pull in 2nd and he was impressed. So we'll see. He does think, and so do I, that I'll need a DD now. That'll come soon enough.

Brian. Awesome. I wathced video on other thread. Exhaust and blower noise kick ***. What exhaust are you running? Jst curious is that torque nomber a tad low, should it be closer to the hp number like tom 281, just asking, I would love to have those numbers, hell I'd take 413/413 if I could but I don't think its gonna happen anytime soon.

Socal guys- Fab Fords is only a day away. What's the plan?? Are we having breakfast before entering the lot? Or are we just going to meet in the Sears parking lot then pull into Knotts together? All you LA guys come up with something and let me know. That way I know how early I'll have to be up.

The only problem is that there is always gonna be someone with cubic dollars and will be faster. All I know is I'm having fun. I'd be having more but then I'd have to be driving.

Thanks !!!
Thanks Scott & Robbie.
Tom, you're an ***.
After experiencing what I went though this week, and knowing what I know now, only one thing comes to mind when I think of your setup.. tick tock.. tick tock..
The gears in my head have begun to turn.

Bill, your time will come. When it does your gonna have one helluva monster. I cannot wait for that day. It will truly be something awesome. The set back right now sucks to high-heaven, but vengance over the aluminum gods shall be yours That I have no doubt.
It's been a long *** day. Dog tired now, still wide awake for some reason....
Anyway someone asked what exhaust I'm running... Stock cats, FRPP X-Pipe & FRPP Stingers.
If it helps, not only did that sound great on the dyno, but I could literally feel the ground or everything around me move a little when he got on it. Yeah, it was cool.
