Looks like what we talked about will work then. Put the rear on rhino ramps and go to town. Is there a PDF for the support bar? Just so we know the torque for those bolts.

OK guys Leo has been a very bad influence on me today. Usually its Bill.

I ordered the Silver Horse grill inserts and...................

I ordered a new tune from Brenspeed. I talked to them today and told them what the GT had and what I was looking for and they are going to gin something up for me and have it to me in a few days. Can't wait.

It will be interesting to do the comparo vs. BAMA 93Race tune. I'll let you know what the butt - o - meter tells me after I get it installed and driven.

It's cool I got one. Thanks though. Don't worry the furious mod pace won't continue. It will slow to a crawl after all these latest mods. I just blew my load early in 08'.

Chris had Judo, so I couldn't make it either. Darn.

I'm looking forward to your meter reading.

Try your hardest not to 'feel' the $50, looking for an honest review.

Just got back from a quick stop at Jed's. He's working at a furious pace getting his old Bullitts back on and still has to drop off the forged wheels for plating.

First time I saw him all dirty and in action!

Glad to here I convinced somebody to jump on the grill inserts. I tried talking Bill into it even via phone and he wouldn't budge.

Found PH Bar install. Not TB quality but good enough.

Yes Leo, thank you for reminding me I had forgotten. The price is right and they look great and really finish off the front grill.

You know Bill he's a stubborn old coot. All Bill has on his mind is hooters, errrr beer, errrr.. Mustang Mods

Leo, you'll find it easier to have the car supported by jackstands located in front of the LCA mounting points. That way, you can adjust the side to side movement of the wheels while they're hanging. Just remember that the center moves as the car is lowered, so what I did was use my jack under the differential and jack up the rearend assembly while the car was still on the jackstands, to simulate the car being on the ground- I did this to check the final adjustment and "look" before completely lowering the car.

Got a message from Tom1 saying that he's still alive!

He said that his new position doesn't allow him to check TMS during the day. Sounds like a demotion to me.

+1. Love the HIDs. They make the fogs look so yellow. I've read there has been alot of problems with a couple different types, is what you installed free of issues, that you know of ?

Tell me about it there is no way I could stand it either. Went to the "special" meeting but nothing much came out of it. I was expecting some movement like we talked about but nothing was done. The next meeting is supposed to be "the" meeting.

LEO, I've looked at the grill things and I'll probably eventually get them I like how they look much better than when they were first displayed or posted. I know at 45 bucks it's hard to say no so maybe I'll get them sooner than later

After 2 weeks of waiting... My MGW short shifter arrived! Called a friend over and we immediatly got on the install. Only trouble I ran into was that lousy bolt which attaches the arm to the trans. I mean HORRIBLE time. But over all easy install. Awsome change in shifting. I have it turned turned out to 7ish. Feels pretty good and much shorter.

Also in the mail for today was my Pioneer bluetooth kit. Connects my phone automatically to the car and when I leave it turns off. So spoiled. That install was harder then the shifter having paid someone to install the original nav unit.

Now... on to Long tubes! (soon) Anyone know if hi-flow cats muffle the sound of the exhaust as bad as our stock cats? I was told by someone that any(even prochamber) off road H or X mid pipe will have a trumpet sound due to the lack of cats. Is this true? So if I put hi-flow cats will I get a deeper/louder sound over the stock cats but not as much as totally o/r?

Go the Roush aligned @ West End Alignment

This morning I went to West End Alignment in Gardena, CA. West End is well know for custom performance Wheel alignment. I decided to go with an aggresive street setup just short of installing camber plates. Camber was set to 1.6. I told him I'm more of a canyon carver than drag guy. Darin is very meticulas and to the point we had some good conversations while he was working on the car. After the alignment I took it for a test ride and the car seems to handle fine, crisp responce can't wait to go into combat mode on some mountain roads! If you live in SoCal I highly recommend WEA. TacoBill turned me on to West End, thanks Bill

WEST END ALGNMENT

Later that day!

This is the last shot of the stock Roush rims seen here in the G-rage. In about two weeks the rims should be done and I'll have to get horizontal again I went with the Ferrrari Black Chrome finish. It's very close to what I have with just a little more black tint. After today I need a second low profile hydraulic jack. I use a sissor jack to pre-raise the car for the big jack, man that wore me out! TacoBill cruised up with Chris he saw me getting down and dirty The next house I buy will have a lift!

Ferrari black

No prob! I even had Darin align my Taco after I installed the BFG A/T's.

That FBC finish is the cat's meow!
