I know, but why are they $30 more than the Ultra-Lites? They both look good... I'm just curious as to why $40 for one and $70 for the other.

The "guess" part was the boost/vacuum versus boost pressure - since I still don't know how to hook it up.

AutoMeter's instructions on the site say to a vacuum line "for vacuum and boost gauges" and to a pressure port on the engine for "pressure gauges".

I think I paid around $60+ for my Voltmeter gauge (and that was off ebay).
I'm sure others with turbos or even GMS can tell you exactly where to hook it up.

I think Autometer makes an indiglo gauge. It all depends on the interior lighting theme Tom is going for.
I still have my dashlights set at the default 'white', so the Ultralite II backlighting is perfect.

Welcome back George! Great pics!

We know exactly what you're talking about when you said that your feet were killing you!

Jasmin's a trooper for sticking with you for 2 days at SEMA. Most girls would have called it quits after a couple hours and would have headed to the mall instead.

Once Jed get's thru touching up all the pics, we'l put together a slammin' slideshow.

Sorry George, that sounds funny, like one of those whizzers or a kazoo.

Although 1000% more functional than my hood scoop, I'm just not feelin' the love for it.

More specifically, the scoop sits up too high when the hood's closed and that big red filter box doesn't look right.
Looking at the pics, I don't see any water management system either.

I think it sounds funny, too.

Maybe just because of the video's sound quality?

True but it was a vid off a cell phone, In person it sounds great, it reminded me of my old cobra. The red box was painted for that car, production pieces will be black. The scoop does sit about a 1/2 in higher but I'm alright with that. The water issue is a valid concern that needs to be figured out.

The unit that was there is the prototype and it will be mid 08 before its released, Plenty of time for me to think about it!. If I want to go FI and keep the scoop it's my only choice for me unless someone comes out with something better Also for me personally I like the saleen blower.

It was a beautiful fall day today so I spent the day washing, clay barring and waxing the car. I didn't get thru with dressing the tires but I went out and took some pictures anyway. So here are a couple.

That sound clip is awful. I don't think you can judge the system on a cell phone video.

Car looks great John!

I gotta find a woman like that.

John, great job on the car. Black is always stunning when it's nice and shiny

GT looks great John. Now let's see the engine bay.

Ray, nice vids, but the Taco owns!

George, since it won't be coming out til 08 sometime, it'll give them a chance to refine it and possibly lower the scoop a little.
Who knows, it may be in my future as well.
