Ponies on The Run (Again)

Yeah, I know… I came down the ol Terminal Island freeway and went "Where did the old Main Gate go???" When I flew out of LAX we turned over the shipyards and I could see that that wasn't the only thing missing!
What? You didn't read my edit note?

My dad worked off Anaheim and Henry Ford Ave just behind the refinery for many many years, Rachel Laboratories.... Just before the draw bridge. Where his factory was is now water ?? Heck I remember the "world's biggest crane" from the ****'s that used to be at the Navy Yard....

I like the shifter, the positive feel of it is very re-assuring. The only shifting problem I have is if I am just tooling along in 4th and shift to 5th without thinking and I will get third. This doesn't happen if I am running up the gears, just if I am cruising in 4th due to slow traffic and the engine noise tells my brain to shift and I do it without thinking. It is then I don't put any side pressure to push it into 5th. But I just love driving the car with it! It makes it so much more fun and enjoyable.

Let me start today by sharing a little video Chris and I made yesterday after dinner. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIos8COcw9c
These gears are so fun, I just had to take her out for a spin!
Funny part in the vid (which I didn't capture) was when one of the kids yelled, "Is that a Mustang??". Then yelled for me to do a burnout down the street. Of course, I did no such thing. I ain't no teenager ya know!

Well just finished rotating my tires and cutting off the bump stops. (Don't worry Bill I took pics.) I cut through the bumps stops like butter using and exacto knife. After that I decided to take random ref pics. I took pics of the shock bolt location in the trunk, inside the interior light panel, removed and a/c vent, removed the lower portion of the back seat. FYI-for anyone wanting to clean there back seats without having to squeeze in back. I recommend removing the back seat as it takes all of two seconds and comes of with two simple tabs. Nothing ground breaking I was just bored.
I'll post a link to the gallery once they're uploaded.

I took it for a test drive after cutting the bump stops. During the test I went over speed bumps faster than usual and I didn't feel bone jarring jolt I usually get when going over bumps. Tom you were right. Anyone else that's lowered their car I highly suggest doing this.
